
About the Museum
The Dominion Ordnance Inc. is a Canadian federally licenced firearms museum and registered non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of historical military ordnance of national importance.
Ongoing museum programs include public informational displays through partner events and spaces, historic arms demonstrations for military and police organizations and research access for professional historians and researchers.
Our purpose is to educate people from all walks of life on the wide ranging history of military and civilian armament development, manufacturing and the usage and impact of these throughout the globe, with an emphasis on Canadian materials and history.
Visiting the Museum
The Museum’s physical premises is located near Belfast, Prince Edward Island. It is open by donation and by appointment only, please contact us to arrange visitation.
All necessary legal permits are maintained, and responsible security and safety measures are taken for the preservation of our collection. We reserve the right to restrict access to any/all portions of the collection as necessary on this basis.

The Museum operates as a volunteer non-profit with a limited budget for programs and acquisitions. Your support is greatly appreciated whether financial or otherwise.
